Two things, and only in a general way. The first is a count of page views, including which page was opened, roughly where in the world the request came from, and the campaign parameters in the address if a link carried any. The second is an error report if something on the page breaks, which records what broke and on which page.

Neither carries a name, an email address, an account or an advertising identifier, and nothing is stored that would let anyone recognise the same visitor on another site.

None are set. The visitor counter is run without them, which is why there is no cookie banner. Two small preferences are kept in your own browser and never sent anywhere: the light or dark setting, and whether you last used the museum or the ordinary pages.

Page views are counted by PostHog and error reports are handled by Sentry. Both receive only what is described above. The site is served by Cloudflare Pages, which keeps its own request logs, as any web host does.

The photographs and the rest of the site are served from this domain. There are no ads, no social media embeds, no fonts loaded from elsewhere and no trackers beyond the two named here.

Page view counts and error reports are kept for as long as those services hold them under their own retention settings, and are used only to see which pages are read and to fix what is broken.

Because nothing here identifies a person, there is usually nothing to look up. If you think something about you has ended up on the site, write and say so and it will be dealt with.
